Scotland’s Climate Week
Scotland’s Climate Week is an annual event, which started in 2016, to help raise awareness of the global climate emergency and celebrate Scotland’s leadership in taking action against climate change.
This year Scotland's Climate Week will mark six weeks to go until the 26th UN Climate Change Conference of the Parties (COP26).
Scotland’s Climate Week will centre on the run up to COP26 and highlight the inspirational and leading climate action that’s already underway across Scotland’s businesses and organisations. It’ll encourage more action before, during and after COP26 that demonstrates Scotland’s collective effort to protect the planet we love.
Throughout Scotland’s Climate Week, organisers are asking businesses and organisations to highlight the changes they’re already making in response to the global climate emergency, and to bring their employees, families and communities into the conversation on what they can do as we head towards COP26. The aim is for climate action to become a hot topic of conversation at workplaces, homes and community spaces up and down the country all the way through to COP26 and beyond.
